🗓️ Day 1: Journey to Kuri & Campfire Dreams

Morning: Hit the Road Early!

  • 7:00 AM: Departure from Kathmandu. Start your journey early! Take a reserved Jeep/Scorpio or public bus towards Charikot. The scenic drive to the east is an adventure in itself.
  • 12:00 PM: Lunch Break. Stop at Mude or Charikot for a hearty Nepali meal to fuel the rest of your climb.

Afternoon & Evening: Warmth in Kuri

  • 4:00 PM: Arrive at Kuri Village. This is the base camp, located at 3,200m. Check into your warm accommodation—if you choose Tripura Resort, you’ll be welcomed with a Complimentary Soup or Coffee.
  • 5:00 PM: Explore & Acclimatize. Take a short walk around Kuri Village. If you visit during the snowfall season, grab the chance to play in the snow and capture the stunning mountain sunset.
  • 7:30 PM: Dinner & Unlimited Campfire. Enjoy a warm non-veg dinner included in most packages. The evening highlight is socializing around the Unlimited Campfire, keeping you cozy under the Himalayan stars.

🗓️ Day 2: Temple, Himalayas, and the Descent

Morning: Summit the Holy Hill

  • 5:30 AM: Catch the Sunrise. Wake up before dawn and head to the cable car station right in Kuri, ready for the ascent.
  • 6:00 AM:Visit Kalinchowk Bhagwati Temple (3,842m).
    • Option 1 (Quick & Scenic): Take the 5-minute cable car ride for breathtaking aerial views.
    • Option 2 (The Pilgrimage Hike): Embark on the challenging but rewarding 45-minute to 1-hour steep hike to the top.
  • 7:30 AM: Himalayan Vista. From the summit, you can witness the incredible panorama of the Langtang, Gaurishankar, Jugal, and possibly even the Everest ranges on a clear day. Offer your prayers at the sacred shrine.

Late Morning & Return Journey

  • 9:00 AM: Breakfast. Descend back to your hotel in Kuri for a well-deserved, warm breakfast.
  • 10:00 AM: Start Drive Back. Begin the return journey. Many travelers opt for a brief stop at Dolakha Bhimsen Temple near Charikot for a final blessing.
  • 4:00 PM – 5:00 PM: Arrive in Kathmandu. You’ll be back in the city, refreshed and carrying incredible memories of your successful 48-hour Himalayan escape!
